The Sanpete County Sheriff's Office would like to welcome
all Pageant visitors.  We sincerely hope you have a safe and
enjoyable time.  The following are a few guidelines which
may help make your time here more enjoyable.

AN ALTERNATE ROUTE OUT OF TOWN

Turn your radio to KMTI AM 650 for up to date reports
on the pageant, traffic and weather.  The radio
station will also carry any alerts or warnings as needed.

No food or drink is allowed on the temple grounds, don't
bring your coolers and such with you to the temple grounds.

The gates to the temple grounds open 6:00 p.m.

Please obey all traffic regulation signs.

There will be NO parking or UNLOADING on main street
between 300 North and 700 North.  Please do not stop
or attempt to unload in this area.

Park ONLY in designated areas.

Park your vehicle in a legal manner.  Those vehicles parked
illegally (on the sidewalk, in no parking zones etc) will be towed.

Please lock your vehicles and secure your valuables.

Handicap parking is accessed by turning East on 200 North main
you will then be directed to a Parking location.
Those who can not walk very far or who need to be let out
close to the temple grounds should proceed to the Handicap parking
area.

If you are traveling north after the Pageant try and park your vehicle
on the east side of main street.  Likewise if you are traveling
south afterwards you should park on the west side.  This makes
getting onto main street far easier and faster.

There are only two routes into and out of town.  The rumors of a route
west through the fields are just that a rumor.

Please even if you are traveling to the Wasatch front consider the
route south to Gunnison and then north to Nephi.  While the
route is several miles longer, on a typical Pageant night it will
probably save you over an hour in driving time.  The link here goes
to a page with printable directions and a Map.

There are only 2 roads out of town.  Traffic trickles into town all
day long but in the end it must all leave either north on US89 or
south on US89.  On most nights it is somewhere between 11:30 p.m.
and 1:30 a.m. before all traffic is cleared and on the road.
Expect Delays.
Again please consider parking on the west side and going south.

Thanks and Enjoy the show
