MISSION STATEMENT

SANPETE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

The mission of the Sanpete County Sheriff's Office is to insure through our action that our county is a safer place to live, work, play and visit.

We will accomplish this mission by:

Defending the United States constitution that safeguards individual liberties

Building a spirit of cooperation and trust with community leaders, surrounding counties and the State of Utah in order to promote crime prevention within our community

Fostering a spirit of cooperation and support by assisting other law enforcement agencies in carrying out their duties

Providing law enforcement for our citizens and others that we come in contact with while enforcing the laws of Sanpete County and the State of Utah

Maintaining a high standard of professionalism through good-faith adherence to the law enforcement code of ethics

Preparing for large scale events that threaten our community through dedication to personal training, acquisition and maintenance of emergency response equipment, and sound principals of emergency management
